We lost 5-1 to the grasshoppers but had great fun in the pub afterwards. Grasshoppers probably the best or second best team in the league , so we still might win another game this season?
Trouble with tubes meant we got our first point early on and then the full team turned up. Half time score 3-1 so we tightened up our defence to only let in 2 more.
Some trying saving touch's from Woody and Joe. Good performance from B the latest recruit wearing number 70!!! Almost had couple of tries Woody and Liz , Daz making some super breaks. Good to see Anya out again.
Only injury Jay's very swollen finger resulted from rocket pass from Woody. Funniest moment male player from oppo throwing the ball up in the air after breaking away and in for a try, shouting "where's the line"! Best pub performance Liz trying to convince all and herself that a bright pink polo shirt is a great present for a New Zealnd bloke! Two best shouts from the sidelines Woody to me "Get into line" and "Look where you're passing" both fair comments.
It's all Magic on and off the pitch .............Alan

Good to see the web page up and running! Al get off ur arse and post some of those photos I gave you, esp. of the winning trophy! Bad luck on losing the first game, good luck for the next one, I'm cheering on from the sidelines here in Oz...
