Magic Mavericks lost 4-3

A tough game yesterday and our first loss of the season, 4-3 to the Galaxy Womens team. Thanks to El Presidente for coming down and helping out. Quite an even game and one we could def have won. We gave them a couple of soft tries with the captain buying a dummy! We didn't have the spark in attack that we had shown in previous weeks. A few grumbles after about the offside line which seemed to be about 8 yards for us and one try disallowed. Having said that it bodes well for the next few weeks. In general our defence was very well organised and everyone worked really hard once we realised the refs interpretation of the offside line. If we can get some fluency back in attack we will do well. Man of the match this week was Aled who was always in the middle of the action and sold a great dummy to score a good try.
